The textbooks, apart from providing comprehensive study material, are well appreciated for the simplicity of content, clarity of style, and the in-depth coverage of the subject. Accompanying each sign in the book is a well researched account of the history of the company advertised. I've dabbled in all sorts of sci-fi, but I think the relativity to humanity that is possible in this variation of the larger genre makes for some very interesting stuff. It was a gift and the recipient was delighted to receive the book. My child was never that enthused about these books, I have to admit, but I have always loved Edward Ardizzone's illustrations, and I have really enjoyed reading his stories in the Tim series.
