I have a very hard time finding illustrated books for the Mexican children that I buy books for. Miss the "good ol' days" or are you to young to have been there. I'd add another 5 for timing and another 5 for content it's charming for adults and perfectly aimed at the kids it needs to reach, and the photography that illustrates it is terrific but Amazon doesn't really accommodate 15-star reviews, so 5 it is. The words are calming and the rhyme is beautifully done. Through this chapter the author contributes greatly to our understanding of Sassanian military encounters with its enemies. On here 17th birthday, Ellie realizes she has AMAZING powers. But although I have read it several times (as well as listened to an excellent audio version), I have never re-read the sequels Little Men and Jo's Boys since my initial reading of them at about age 12. reviews: The Kindle version of this book was cleanly formatted without any noticeable typos, making this a pleasant reading experience in portrait mode. I did notice there were some issues with not allowing for columns for reading in landscape mode on my iPad...

I highly recommend this book. Plenty of information.
